Rosarigasinos
Argentina, 2001. 90 minutes. Directed by Rodrigo Grande

This multi-award winning film, reminiscent of a tango, talks about friendship, love, betrayal and revenge. After botching up a robbery, Alberto (Federico Luppi) and Castor (Ulises Dumont) are thrown in the prison of Rosario. During their thirty-years sentence, Alberto stops singing tango and Castor has not played the magical tango instrument "bandoneon." Living without booze, friends, or women, their only consolation is to think about the money they hid in the Paraná River. Under menacing skies, they are released to a city they no longer recognize, forcing them to go back to their old ways. Will revenge get in the way of friendship and land them back in jail?
