In anticipation of the world premiere of the Mexican film The Dove and the Wolf / La paloma y el lobo, the debut feature by Mexican filmmaker Carlos Lenin, as part of the Cineasti del Presente competition at the 72nd Locarno Film Festival, the filmmakers have unveiled the trailer.
Set in Northern Mexicano and starring Armando Hernández , Paloma Petra , Mónica del Carmen, and Pablo Mendoza, the film follows Paloma and Lobo, who survive trying to love each other and displaced by the violence that swept their town. Through thirst, fear and nostalgia, Paloma wishes to go back home but Lobo lives tied to a memory that stops him from returning.
