A film by Chris Valdés and Ted Griswold
(USA/Honduras, 2017, 70 min. In Spanish with English subtitles)

Olancho is the most lawless province of Honduras, one the most murderous country on the planet. Here, the drug trade has taken its toll in human lives and economic damage. But to some musicians, the cartels provide an opportunity. The feature documentary Olancho is the story of a group of musicians who perform for the powerful drug cartels there. Their songs glorify the traffickers who have destroyed their country, and who sometimes threaten the lives of their loved ones. But in a world where the cartels wield the most power, do the musicians have any other choice?
