A mother wonders: will her children grow to love their perfect machines more than they love their imperfect mother? As technology advances, humankind spends little time questioning how the machines we use every day may end up changing us forever. Both intimate in scope and epic in scale, and featuring a score performed by the Kronos Quartet, Users is a Malickian journey into an invisible realm, compelling the viewer to contemplate their own relationship to technology and its impact on us and our world.
