Mexican-American filmmaker Natalia Almada will serve on the U.S. Documentary Competition Jury. A 2012 MacArthur “Genius” fellow, she is a two-time recipient of the Sundance Directing Award: U.S. Documentary for El General (2009) and Users (2021). Her directing credits include Todo lo demás (2016 New York Film Festival), El Velador (2011 Cannes Film Festival), Al Otro Lado (2005 Tribeca Film Festival), and All Water Has a Perfect Memory (2002 Sundance Film Festival).

Panamanian-American writer, director, and actor Janicza Bravo will serve on the U.S. Dramatic Competition Jury. Her film Zola led the 2022 Film Independent Spirit Awards after premiering at Sundance, and her debut feature, Lemon, also premiered at the Festival in 2017. Bravo has directed extensively for television, including the BBC limited series The Listeners.

Argentine actor, writer, and director Ana Katz will be a juror for the World Cinema Dramatic Competition. She directed the feature films Los Marziano, Mi amiga del parque, and The Dog Who Wouldn’t Be Quiet, which have premiered at Cannes, Sundance, and the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival. Katz has also written and directed theatrical works and television series for Hulu, Netflix, and Amazon Prime Video. She is currently working on her next film, Águilas plateadas.
