Netflix has released today the first teaser-trailer for Roma, the upcoming film by Alfonso Cuarón that marks his return to his native Mexico to shoot a film since he made Y Tu Mamá También in 2001. The film will be having its world premiere in a few days as part of the main competition of the Venice Film Festival, and will also screen at the Toronto Film Festival in September, and will be the New York Times' centerpiece in early October.
Starring Yalitza Aparicio, Marina de Tavira, Marco Graf, Daniela Demesa, Enoc Leaño and Daniel Valtierra, Cuarón’s semi-autobiographical feature stars chronicles one year in the life of a middle-class family in 1970s Mexico City.
